What does our software do? Our customized software has the capability of tailoring an insurance plan for each individual farm. The software can analyze the APH's on all units of a crop on a per county basis. The software takes all of this information and then calculates many different equations in order to visually show how each different Federal Crop Insurance Coverage will perform for the producer. The software is built to optimize each insurance dollar spent and because of this, we have actually been able to save some producers as much as $15.00 per acre in insurance. The software has the capability of handling any number of fields and can also compute up to 15 different insurance scenarios simultaneously. Once the computations are complete a loss chart is produced that shows the relationships between the various insurance plans. Graphs, such as those in the loss chart, are much easier for producers to interpret than a page full of numbers. The program also runs a whole farm analysis which shows the best insurance program for the total operation. Many different companies sell crop insurance, however only one has access to our specialized software. We keep up to date on all the new rules and regulations dealing with crop insurance.
